Scott’s 30 years leading blue chip, mid cap and venture backed companies in global markets provides the experience necessary to propel Compression Works to commercial success. Always attracted to technology that made a difference in the lives of patients, Scott spent his early career at Boston Scientific and helped grow the company from a $40M privately held organization to a $2B publicly traded medical powerhouse during his tenure. To broaden his base, he spent the next several years leading the Global Orthopedic Unit of Orthofix International with operations in the United States and Europe where he helped accelerate the growth and profitability of the division. For the last 12 years Scott has led three venture backed medical companies and has raised over $200M in private and public funding while taking one of his company’s public. Scaling and building organizations are his trademark and make him well suited for his role here at Compression Works.
