HONORING THE SAVE
RECOGNIZING LIFE-SAVING ACTION
Awarded when the AAJT-S was deployed — and a life was saved.
When Seconds Mattered
“I am grateful that Compression Works put a device in our hands that made a difference in someone's life."
- Lance Loyer, Paramedic · Rogers Fire Dept
When a patient's abdominal hemorrhage continued uncontrolled after cauterization, wound packing, and 2.5L of fluid resuscitation at a surgery center, Loyer applied the AAJT-S on scene — stabilizing blood pressure from 94/51 to 115/80, delivering a hemodynamically stable patient to Mercy Rogers, and earning a Challenge Coin for a patient who made a full neurological recovery.
