An adult patient with uncontrolled abdominal hemorrhage after an outpatient surgery was stabilized by Rogers Fire Department EMS with the AAJT-S — vitals improved from 94/55 to 116/63 and the patient was delivered hemodynamically stable and neurologically intact for definitive surgery.

Inguinal GSW — Robeson County EMS, NC

A 50-year-old male survived an inguinal gunshot wound with hemorrhagic shock after Robeson County EMS applied the AAJT-S to the abdomen on scene, achieving pre-hospital hemorrhage control and bridging him to hospital care.
